Limited Warranty

 

 

 

How long your coverage lasts: This warranty lasts 3 years from the original date of purchase. 

Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer ownership.

What is covered by your Limited Warranty?
This Limited Warranty applies to defects due to faulty workmanship or materials, subject to the limitations described in this warranty. Any physical flaw in the material or a manufacturing defect that causes the product or any component part thereof to split, crack, break, or otherwise fail under conditions of normal use and proper handling.


What is NOT covered by your Limited Warranty?
Examples of cases not covered by our policy are:

  • Minor imperfections, slight cosmetic flaws, or color and finish variations

  • Normal wear and tear or damage as a result of spot cleaning

  • Scratches, dings, dents, stains, soiling, burns, and discoloration that occur over time

  • Damage caused by physical abuse, negligence, improper installation or misuse

  • Damage caused by commercial use, such as in a hotel or store

  • Damage caused by Acts of God or other natural forces.

  • Replacement of any non-defective pieces of the Furniture (for example, if one component of Furniture is defective, then we will replace the defective component only)

  • Any Furniture sold by resellers who are not authorized retailers

How does the Process Work?

To begin the process of having your purchase replaced under these terms, contact us at orders@republicdesignhouse.com or (951)785-1640. All complaints must be supplemented with proof of defect and proof of purchase. After proof of defect is sent to our warranty team, we will confirm whether the defect fits within the warranty.

While we do not issue a new 3-Year warranty to cover your replacement product, we do allow the one covering the initial purchase to carry forward and protect your replacement until the full three years have elapsed.

 

 

Warranty Coverage for purchases made through authorized 3rd party retailers: All warranty service must be provided through the dealer where you purchased your bed. If the dealer determines that a warranty problem

exists, Republic Design House, Inc. will either replace, send out parts or components or authorize the dealer to repair the defective product.

Republic Design House, Inc., reserves the right to decide the appropriate remedy. If the dealer or factory

representative finds return to the factory necessary, packing and shipping costs to the factory may be

the responsibility of the customer.  

 

Limitations on Claims: EXCEPT FOR YOUR REMEDIES FOR A WARRANTY CLAIM

DISCRIBED IN THE PARAGRAGH ABOVE, REPUBLIC DESIGN HOUSE, INC. MAKES NO

WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY

DAMAGES OR CLAIMS, WHETHER OR NOT SUCH DAMAGES ARE DIRECT, INCIDENTAL

OR CONSEQUENTIAL. By way of example only, (i) incidental damages include, but are not limited

to, phone charges, time lost from work, transportation costs and cost of renting a product too temporarily

replace the warranted product; and (ii) consequential damages include, but are not limited to

replacing other property that is damaged when the warranted product fails, are not covered.   

 

Third Party Warranties: Your Republic Design house, Inc. product may contain components which come 

labeled with manufacturers’ warranties which are in addition to the warranty coverage provide by

Republic Design House, Inc. Any such warranty coverage is the sole obligation of the manufacturer of that

component and you should contact the manufacturer of that component directly in the event of a 

warranty claim.
